Tomintoul Tawny Port Cask Finish
Tomintoul master distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by marrying together Tomintoul single malts aged in bourbon American oak barrels and then finishing them in Tawny Port barriques from Portugal.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Indulgent berry fruits, bramble jam, and dark chocolate cushioned with nutmeg and cherry liqueur.
Palate
A wash of blackcurrants, blueberries, and Black Forest gateau bound with cosy oak spices and mocha coffee.
Finish
Maraschino cherries and thick-cut marmalade fade into a clove and cinnamon.
