This splendid small batch single malt from Tomintoul was created by its master distiller Robert Fleming. The whisky initially matured in American oak bourbon casks before it was married and finished in Italian Amarone wine barrels.
Juicy sultanas and fruit crumble, cherry studded flapjacks, a touch of cocoa, and cakey spice.
Sweet layers of strawberries and raspberries, dusted with icing sugar. Creamy custard, gingersnaps, and aromatic oak.
Spiced honey, chocolate raisins, granola, and a touch of peppery warmth.
