A 30 year old Tomintoul single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by WM Cadenhead for their Small Batch range. This was distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2016 with an outturn of 246 bottles.
Very fruity - stone fruit, stewed rhubarb and Jazz apples.
More orchard fruit notes come through on the palate (particularly the apples again), though now a hint of spicy barley develops underneath.
Rhubarb and liquorice on the finish.
