This 21 year old Tomintoul makes a wonderful addition to our very own Single Cask Series! It was distilled on 13th November 1996 and allowed aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead until being bottled on 14th August 2018 by your favourite pals at Master of Malt. No chill-filtration or additional colouring - not on our watch!
Creamy vanilla pod and soft oak notes, with a waft of citrus blossom.
Creamy malt, butterscotch, toffee, a pinch of tobacco, a few vibrant hints of fresh mango and honeydew melon.
A kick of pink peppercorn alongside more Custard Cream biscuits and milky coffee.

Very very, very nice. Quite different to the 19 year old single cask. Perhaps a little simpler, a little less deep, but still lovely. Sweet sweet vanilla nose, more floral with a drop of water. Rich toffee on the palate. Fabulous milky coffee finish as it says above! Smooth - the gentle dram indeed! More single cask Tomintouls please!
