An indie bottling of single malt from the Tomintoul Distillery, released as part of the Lady of the Glen series by Hannah Whisky Merchants. This one was first aged in a bourbon hogshead before enjoying a 13 month finishing period in an Amontillado sherry cask. 251 bottles were produced.
Rich coffee notes followed by apples and warm biscuit dough.
Sharp orange at first, swiftly mellowed by vanilla and honey. Chocolatey notes develop later on.
Gingerbread, cedar, orange oils.
