This Tomintoul was distilled in Speyside in May 2005, before it spent the next 13 years in a single sherry butt. After it had rested for over a decade, A.D. Rattray bottled the single malt in March 2019 for the Cask Collection, coming in at a generous 60% ABV. The butt saw an outturn of 617 bottles.
Juicy autumnal fruits, citrus peel, fresh hay, a handful of dried fruit and oak.
Warming chai spices, creamy vanilla, floral honey and rich fruit compote.
A gentle finish with toasted nuts and sherried dried fruit.
