Single malt Scotch from Tomintoul, distilled in 2011 and matured for 11 years in a single cask. That cask was opened up in 2022 and the whisky was independently bottled at a hearty 52.3% ABV by Hidden Spirits.
Soft, sweet toffee, vanilla, and distant notes of zesty, vegetal barley.
Creamy layers of vanilla fudge, flapjack, and barley sugars lead to a hint of honeyed melon and Rich Tea biscuits.
Cracked pepper, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, crumbly shortbread.
