Old Ballantruan 10YO

Old Ballantruan is a superb peated malt, produced at Speyside's Tomintoul distillery using heavily peated barley. This is the first ever bottling with an age statement, and it comes at a punchy 50%ABV. Very good stuff!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Soft spices and rich peat note. Very punchy and intense, with some inviting vanilla notes.

Palate Simple and balanced with a solid delivery of rich peat smoke and hints of black pepper.

Finish Intense and spicy with a crescendo of wood smoke and tar.

Overall Not overly complex, this is a simple though very enjoyable peated Speyside malt...
