Very good single malt, I don't want to share.
This is a good whisky, but it's no longer the all-natural non chill-filtered, no added colouring bottling. It now contains caramel colouring, which is detrimental to the craft presentation. All the other official bottlings have artificial colour and are chill-filtered, I thought the whole point of this one was that it's a natural expression. Evidently not any more. Not sure if the decision has come from the distillery or Angus Dundee (the owners), but it's a step backwards, and a sneaky one at that.
Awesome. One of the best
Beautifully crafted. Marvellous experience. The light floral nose surprised my palate with its malty, creamy, vanilla, pastry-like taste. It escalates the experience to another level when the dram is swallowed. The taste just lingers on, with such gentleness yet imposing to the taste memory. Almost a perfect match to the steamed Asian cuisine I had that evening. Will be stocking up if I can get hold of it here!
Amazing! Opened a bottle at a Super Bowl party and had my friend texting me the next morning for the name of this pleasant dram.
