A gentle 10 year old from the Speyside distillery, Tomintoul, matured exclusively in American oak bourbon barrels. Tomintoul 10 Year Old was introduced to the range in 2002, two years after the distillery was bought by Angus Dundee, and has been awarded gold medals for its taste by some of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world.
Medium-body and well-balanced. There are notes of vanilla fudge and barley. Tones of malt extract and espresso, hints of mochaccino and oak.
Pleasingly viscous, with notes of barley sugar, toasty cereals, acacia honey and malt extract. Honeycomb, toffee and a touch of vanilla fudge.
Quite short, yet charming.

One for the whisky cupboard. Easy on the palate with a nice rounded semi sweet flavour.
A lovely gentle dram, mixes in to cream for deserts without causing any bitterness. Got to be the Pastry Chefs Whisky.
Always have a bottle of this dram in my whisky bar. Pleasant, enjoyable everyday sipping malt:)
