Tomatin distillery's new no-age-statement release uses virgin oak as well as bourbon casks. It provides a new entry level to the Tomatin range but the use of different casks make this a unique expression.
Lemon, panatella and pine forest. Slightly green with vanilla.
Cracked pepper and sweet barley with pineapple cube sweets. Waves of warming oak beneath.
Sweet but peppered.
A clean and certainly affordable single malt whisky.

Very nice for the price. Excellent
A nice smooth whiskey exellent for the price
For the price this is a great dram. What I realise reading the reviews is that you shouldn't read reviews. Everyone likes their own thing. I would buy this again, not something I often do.
Affordable? This is higher than the 12 year old?
Sweet, mellow young but in a good way. Needed the 43abv, any less it would miss oomph which it certainly needs. Lots of vanilla and honey. Much better then the glenlivet founders reserve crap!
