Tomatin Legacy

Tomatin distillery's new no-age-statement release uses virgin oak as well as bourbon casks. It provides a new entry level to the Tomatin range but the use of different casks make this a unique expression.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Lemon, panatella and pine forest. Slightly green with vanilla.

Palate Cracked pepper and sweet barley with pineapple cube sweets. Waves of warming oak beneath.

Finish Sweet but peppered.

Overall A clean and certainly affordable single malt whisky.

Reviews for Tomatin Legacy
Bang for buck
Sitting at that price I've had drams 3 x that price which have completely disappointed me .
I will certainly buy another one . A fine - deed .

Beautiful daily dram
Taking the price into consideration, this is really a affordable daily dram which gives you a sweet palate and decent aroma, rather clean and smooth, short bittery finish. Love it!

Would buy again
Lovely taste, first Tomatin so well priced to lure a new buyer. Picked it up at the Green Welly stop of all places 😂

Smooth Pineapple fruit triumph IMHO
I’ve not tasted anything better for £28.
I don’t find it harsh, I’d say a hit of the afore mentioned ‘pineapple fruit sweets’ which over a couple doesn’t disappoint or morph into something weird.
With £50 to spend, I’d but this and Glenglasshaugh Revival - a fine evening to be had. Well done.

Welcoming and refreshing
A light and refreshing drink, welcoming and comforting. The best whisky in this price range I have encountered to date and a further reason to explore the Tomatin range.
