This Tomatin single malt Scotch whisky was independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. as part The Cooper's Choice range. It was first matured in American oak casks, but then moved over to ruby Port casks for a finishing period, imparting a whole load of fruity notes. Hence the name it was bestowed – Forest Fruits. A release of 360 bottles.
Blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, buttered shortbread, and cinnamon buns.
Redcurrant, raisins, peanuts, a hint of dry toast.
Cooked apples, more dried fruit, and crunchy brown sugar.
This is shockingly bad. People who say otherwise are lying. On the tongue it's like icy hot on your skin, I've never tasted a whiskey where the descriptor of "spicey" actually ment "hot sauce". Avoid this at all costs
