That Boutique-y Whisky Company
Scotland
Single Malt

The first independent bottling of Tomatin single malt Scotch whisky from That Boutique-y Whisky Company is a caramel-rich 21 year old expression. The label features a bushel of tomatoes, including one that has seemingly become sentient and developed a penchant for good whisky and traditional Scottish headwear. We're uncertain how comfortable we would be eating this tomato.
Batch 1 is a release of 304 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Vanilla, blueberry muffins, a good whack of fresh apricot.
Soft oak warmth, paired with buttery shortbread, juicy redcurrant and hazelnut cream.
Toffee, almond and a hint of fruitcake.

Taste and smells very different from what I tried. Notes of cut grass, top soil and green apple with bitter skin. Very interesting whisky, but feels overpriced. Happy I got it with discount but not going to replace, specially for the full price.
