This impressive Tomatin single malt spent over four decades in a single oak barrel which previously held Sauternes from Bordeaux. Bottled at 42 years old at 49% ABV, just 390 bottles were released. Not only that, but the whisky comes alongside a hand-blown crystal decanter and copper-banded glasses, presented on a wooden podium adorned with hand stitched leather, copper, and rose gold. Rather exceptional stuff.
