Tomatin 12 Year Old 2008 (cask 747) - Lady of the Glen (Hannah Whisky Merchants)
A 12 year old single malt from the Tomatin Distillery, which has been independently bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants. It was distilled back in June 2008, and allowed to age in a hogshead for a dozen years, before being bottled in April 2021 for the Lady of the Glen series. A small release of 216 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cinnamon, anise, honeycomb, and hint of toasted marshmallow lingering in the background.
Palate
Gingerbread, peppery rye, waxy peels, walnuts, creamy vanilla.
Finish
Just a hint of apricot, plus more nutty notes lasting.
