Tomatin 12 Year Old – 125th Anniversary
The Tomatin Distillery is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2022, and doing so with this snazzy release of 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky! This expression was matured in a combo of bourbon and sherry casks, making for a fruit-forward, well-balanced flavour profile, well suited to enjoying after dinner, whether you like it neat or in cocktails. It features a handsome design created by papercut artist Emily Hogarth on the presentation box. Here's to another 125 years of Tomatin!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sultana, caramel, a fresh hint of juicy pear and apple.
Palate
Nutty barley and creamy butter, plus more dried fruit. A smidge of ginger later on.
Finish
Sweet red fruit notes and balancing touches of dry oak.
