    Product details

Tomatin 11 Year Old (cask 5777B) - The Single Cask

A single malt from the Tomatin distillery, independently bottled by The Single Cask. Aged for 11 years in a bourbon cask, its final six months was then spent in a first fill Pedro Ximénez 50 litre cask. It was bottled at 53.9% ABV, and only 72 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Both sweet and spicy, with powerful ginger and other baking spices along with warm Christmas cake aromas.

    Palate

Sweet, syrupy fruit, mostly berries, balanced by hints of citrus, heavy oak spices and rich toasted nuts.

    Finish

This one isn't in a hurry, with lovely warming notes lingering alongside sweet tannins and a few more jammy fruits.
