Tomatin 11yo #5777A

11 year old single malt from the Tomatin distillery, independently bottled by The Single Cask. It was first matured in ex-bourbon casks before being moved over to a small first-fill Oloroso sherry cask for 6 months. It was then bottled at 54.9% ABV with an outturn of just 75 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Buttery brioche and walnuts, before a big wave of redcurrant sweetness arrives.

Palate Sugary vanilla once again at the fore, followed by sherried richness - now with a hint of subtly smoky coffee.

Finish Melted chocolate, pecan, barley and white pepper.
