This Tomatin was matured in cask No. 994, an ex-bourbon barrel and is one of 172 bottles produced. It's a smooth, full bodied malt, dstilled on the 18/01/1980 and bottled on 07/08/2008.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Light and fresh. Quite aromatic. Pear drop, orange, apple, citrus notes. Like walking through an orchard.
Palate
Smooth and full-bodied, with underlying creaminess; fills the palate. Clovey-spiceness mixed with orange peel.
Finish
Full and long with lasting orange notes.
Overall
This is a mourth-filling, satisfying dram.
