Tobermory 2008 9yo Bottling Note

A single cask bottling of single malt from the Tobermory, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr. The whisky matured in a bourbon barrel for 9 years, from 2008 to 2018, before being bottled with an outturn of just 332 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Salted butter and peanut shells, with apricot underneath.

Palate: Marmalade, menthol and a touch of coastal air.

Finish: Soft barley and waves of vanilla pod earthiness.

its a cracker non peater
Indeed there is cornflakes with honey sweetness throughout, mild light & floral & is that peppeemint I get..

The mouth feel is a bit thin but when you consider this is only a 9 yr its a cracker non peater! 

Allas single barrel I knew him well.

Light sweet & fresh
For a non peated its light & fresh with honey sweetnes... Peppermint... I swire I got peppermint also.
A little thin mouth feel wise but hay wen u double check its age state its still a cracker even though.

Perfection in a bottle.
An odd sweetness in a good way on the palate, with a very smooth after finish.
