Sherry
A marvellous indie bottling of single malt from Tobermory, drawn from an oloroso sherry butt filled in October 2008 and emptied in July 2017. This 8 year old whisky from the Isle of Mull was independently bottled for the Lady of the Glen range by Hannah Whisky Merchants, producing 353 bottles.
Damson, tangerine, coffee and a touch of spicy barley.
Mr Kipling's Country Slices, dark chocolate and a huge helping of thick oloroso.
Rye bread spiciness peeks out from underneath layers of treacle.

Wow. I only recently just got around to opening this beautiful Tobermory and it's nothing short of stunning. Thick viscous luscious whisky with a beautiful menthol rye edge to balance things out. It drinks like a 16 year old. Stunning. @mom: please get some more back in stock if available.
Very nice nose and it tastes scrumdilidllyupmtious.
It's stunning. Such a thick heavy oloroso dram, you could eat it with a spoon
