CHARITY AUCTION NOW OPEN
A truly unique bottle of single malt from Tobermory here, this is a one-off expression – bottle number one of one! Distilled in 1973, the whisky spent an epic 42 years maturing, including a finish in an oloroso sherry cask. Selected by Tobermory master blender Julieann Fernandez, and bearing a print of her signature on the label, it is quite the collectible.
This charity auction will raise money for The BEN (the Scottish Drinks & Hospitality Benevolent Charity) and Hospitality Action to support all the fantastic work they both do. CVH Spirits are donating the full bottle costs to the former, while we're donating everything raised above that (all margin) to the latter.
Intense and heavily sherried with waves of dark chocolate, tobacco, liquorice, black cherries and roasted chestnuts.
Rich and luxurious, with notes of coffee, redcurrant jam, chocolate covered raisins, treacle toffee and glace cherries, balanced with clove and charred oak.
Everlasting, dry and spicy with dried dark berries.
