Look what we got! Don't worry, we'll share... It's a 28-year-old single malt from Tobermory, distilled in 1996 and matured for a generous 28 years in a single refill hogshead. We tapped into the cask in August 2024, and patiently filled precisely 321 bottles for our Master of Malt Single Cask collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple tart, complete with buttery, crumbly pastry joins the glorious deep, malty, oaky scent of a dunnage warehouse. Charred pineapple brings sweetness in time, with elegant notes of chantilly cream, barley water, and poached pear.
Palate
Soft and creamy to start with vibrant barley and cooked tropical fruits. Peach follows, with waves of vanilla, with golden syrup and shortbread joining buttery old oak and mellow woody spices in the depths.
Finish
Rusk biscuits with a touch of honey, ginger fudge, figs, oaken vanilla, and satisfying layers of creamy malt linger.
