Sherry
24 year old single malt from the isle of Mull's Tobermory distillery, drawn from a single sherry butt laid down in December 1994. After nearly quarter of a century of maturation, the folks at Claxton's deemed it delicious enough to be bottled for their excellent indie botlting range. 346 bottles were produced.
Stewed plums, salted pretzels and a hint of green apple.
Intensely malty, but with more than enough sherried richness to bring balance.
Lingering Christmas spices and sandalwood.
