Tobermory 22 Year Old 1996 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
We've bottled a delightful 22 year old Tobermory single malt for our very own Single Cask Series! It was distilled in June 1996 and allowed to age in a bourbon hogshead until August 2018, when we bottled it at a hefty 59% without chill filtration or additional colours.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rye spices and a drizzle of honey, followed by notes of earthy malt and just a whiff of rock pools.
Palate
Buttered scones, fresh apples and dried fruit with honey in support.
Finish
Apricot and crumbly biscuits. Hobnobs, ginger snaps, chocolate chip cookies - you get the idea.
