Tobermory 21 Year Old 1995 (cask 93841) - Chieftain's (Ian Macleod)

21 year old single malt from the Isle of Mull's Tobermory distillery, finished in a rum barrel. This was distilled in July 1995 and independently bottled by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's range in June 2017. A release of only 177 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Toasted barley delivers vanilla, honey and butter notes, followed by waves of nutmeg and walnut.

Palate

New leather, more walnut, some fizzy orange followed by Demerara sugar and grist.

Finish

Five-spice powder, dark chocolate and sharp green apple.
