Unpeated single malt from the Isle of Mull-based Tobermory distillery, aged in a refill hogshead for 20 years. It was distilled in July 1996 and set aside to mature until January 2017, when Hunter Laing got their hands on it. 242 bottles were produced as part of the Old Malt Cask range.
Nose: Fruit Salad and Rhubarb & Custard sweeties, honey'd cereals, driftwood.
Palate: Exotic spices and creamy vanilla in equal measures. A hint of rice pudding.
Finish: Greek yoghurt with blueberries.
