Single Malt
Tobermory
Scotland
A light hued single malt from the Tobermory distillery on Mull. Ledaig represents peated single malt from the distillery.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Quite light and well-balanced. There is a certain freshness, pertained from notes of cut hay and straw, barley sugars and herbs, notes of cereals and melted salty butter on granary toast.
Medium-bodied with a richness. There are notes of gentle wood smoke and barley sugars, a farmy note with hints of hay and a roots with a touch of cereal sweetness and caramel.
Long and slightly herbal.

Love the smoky peaty note, quite complex for a cheap whiskey. I would have given it a ten but for a slight clove note that hits the back of my tongue. But 9 for a supermarket bargain wow..
Got a bottle when visiting the Tobermory Distillery. Smoky, flavorful.Reminds me of the peat smoke one would smell while travelling the isles. My new favorite way to time travel.
Still can't beleve how nice it is for under £20!
It is up there with Abelour and Jura, a great find.
Bought 4 bottles at £15 a bottle!! fantastic bargain, lovely drink, peaty but not so heavy as others from islay. Highly recommended
