Yummy peaty whisky from Tobermory, released under their Ledaig title. This was matured in a pair of first fill bourbon barrels for 7 years, from June 2010 to June 2017, then bottled by the brilliant Signatory for their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Brown sugar caramelising in a pan, tar, fresh blueberry muffins.
A delicious juxtaposition of sweet vanilla and coastal smoke. Hints of vegetal oak, too.
Sawdust, mint and yet more caramel.
