Yummy peaty whisky from Tobermory! This is a 6 year old single malt from the Isle of Mull-based distillery, released under their Ledaig name for Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection. It was matured in a pair of first fill bourbon barrels that were filled in June 2010 and emptied in February 2017.
Sea shells, buttered rye bread, green banana and loads of smoke.
BBQ char, intense vanilla and sugared peels.
Peppery and subtly herbal.
Smoky, peaty and very smooth. Best scotch for the money I have ever tasted.
