Bottled by Signatory for its Cask Strength Collection, this 2001 vintage Ledaig was matured for two decades in a single refill sherry butt. It was bottled without any artificial colour at a boisterous cask strength of 58.8% ABV. This is sure to be an absolute corker.
Plenty of orchard fruit, orange oil, cocoa powder, and minerally smoke.
Toasted almonds, dark cherry chocolate, aniseed, and wintery spice.
Burnt brown sugar, smoke, and salted caramel.
