Sherry

A splendidly peaty number from Tobermory, this Ledaig single malt was distilled in 1997 and spent the next 20 years maturing in a single oloroso sherry butt. That allowed us plenty of time for the development of this rather fine website that you find yourself perusing, created especially for the purpose of purveying delicious whiskies like this one! We bottled this up ourselves at MoM Towers and now a total of 280 bottles join our exclusive Master of Malt Single Cask collection.

Rich, earthy, herbaceous notes of forest floor, preserved lemons, and smoked oak, joined by a touch of fragrant tobacco.
Unctuous and oily, with layers of jammy dark fruit, black peppercorns, and sooty peat. Woody spice and earthy notes of smoked tea develop beneath.
A crunch of clove, dense, smoky oak char, and lingering peppery warmth.
