The Forgotten Gems independent bottling range is all about making sure the final drops of excellent whiskies don't end up... Well, yeah, forgotten. This particular edition is a Ledaig single malt Scotch whisky from the Tobermory Distillery, matured for 19 years before being bottled up at 40.1% ABV. Only three bottles were produced. Three! We're pretty sure that officially counts as "not many".
New leather, solid peat, a hint of citrus followed by more savoury smoke.
Meaty malt and earthy hints of petrichor, a smidge of bittersweet dark chocolate.
A long finish, with waft after waft of peat.
