Ledaig 19 Year Old 1997 (cask 643083) - Celebration of the Cask (Càrn Mòr)

Peaty Tobermory, independently bottled under their Ledaig name by Càrn Mòr for the Celebration of the Cask range. The whisky was distilled on the Isle of Mull in october 1997 and left to age in a hogshead for 19 years, before being bottled in September 2017 with an outturn of 290 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Green apple, freshly-baked rye bread, oatcakes with smoked cheese.

Palate

Drying peat smoke spiciness, with a whisper of mint choc-chip ice cream underneath.

Finish

Cardamom seed, forest floor and salted butter.
