Ledaig 14 Year Old 2005 (cask 900177) - The Single Malts of Scotland
Smoky single malt all the way from the Isle of Mull - yes, it's a lovely Ledaig! This whisky was distilled by Tobermory back in November 2005 and left aside to age in a sherry butt for 14 years. It was then bottled in February 2020 for The Single Malts of Scotland range, with an outturn of 637 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cinnamon sticks, burning heather, apple peels, sea salt.
Palate
Dried fruit notes and festive spices take shape on the palate, but savoury peat smoke is never far away.
Finish
Drying, spicy smoke with waxy orange peels.
