Ledaig 13 Year Old 2005 - Single & Single

An indie bottling of Ledaig single malt, the name given to the peated whisky produced at the Isle of Mull's Tobermory Distillery! This particular whisky was distilled in 2005, left to mature in a single cask, including a stint finishing in a sherry cask until it was 13 years old. Unlucky for some, but not this whisky, which was bottled up in 2019 by Single & Single at cask strength, a generous 58.1% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Marshmallows on a campfire, with hints of salted caramel and oak char.

Palate

More sea salted caramel, with melted dark chocolate and burnt treacle toffee.

Finish

Charred herbs alongside peppery oak.
