Splendid single malt from Tobermory, packing all the pungent peatiness you'd expect for a release under the Ledaig name. Aged for 12 years between May 2009 and May 2021 in a single bourbon cask, the whisky was then independently bottled by House of Macduff.
Sweet heather, smouldering earthy smoke, zesty citrus peels and petrichor minerality.
Vegetal peat, a touch nutty with spiced fruit, toasted oak, earthy, drying, peppery smoke.
Clove and liquorice pick up, some dark cherry notes balance rich, roasty barley and bold black pepper.
