Single cask Ledaig single malt! Delicious stuff! This is a 11 year old peated single malt from the Tobermory distillery, which was distilled in November 2005 and aged in a first-fill Sherry butt until May 2017. 652 bottles were produced, released as part of Signatory's Cask Strength Collection.
Seaweed, lime peel, raspberry and a hint of fizzy oak.
Good Port, oily barley and a whack of spicy smoke.
Chocolate spread on rye toast. A hint of grist lingers.

This dram plays notes all over the palate, with a densely and complicated flavor. At 57% ABV, it's quite potent and has a sharp bite to it, so I would taste it neat but drink it otherwise. It's great on the rocks or with a splash of water, but it also makes the best Scotch and soda I've ever had.
