Ledaig 10 Year Old 2010 (Chorlton Whisky)

Ledaig 10yo 2010 Chorlton Bottling Note

Smoky single malt from the Isle of Mull - yes, it's a cracking Ledaig, bottled up by Chorlton Whisky! This one was distilled by Tobermory in June 2010, matured in a bourbon barrel and then bottled up 10 years later at 57% ABV, with an outturn of 197 bottles. As with the rest of the Chorlton bottlings, it's got some art on the label. This one seems to depict someone taking half of a dog for a walk. The front half, since you asked...

...Oh, it's just coming out of the bushes! OK, it's an entire dog. Never mind us.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Crispy bacon and salted butter, with a hint of ripe red apples.

Palate Enjoyably savoury, with oatcakes, smoked meats and sea salt.

Finish A hint of citrus peels arrives late on the finish.
