Chapter 7

An indie Ledaig here, distilled over at Tobermory in May 2009! It rested in a single bourbon hogshead for a decade, until March 2020 when it was bottled by Chapter 7 at 51% ABV, with an outturn of 351 bottles. Lots of clean coastal notes among the smoke in this Island whisky!
Coastal peat balanced by ripe pear, with ashy smoke leading into lemon citrus, honey and savoury seaweed.
White chocolate and salty smoke, with honeycomb, marmalade and candied ginger in support.
Pithy citrus and oaky vanilla linger alongside a wisp of smoke.
