Ledaig 10 Year Old 2008 (cask #1851-700075) - Claxton's

10 year old single malt from the Tobermory distillery, released under the Ledaig name - so be ready for a peaty treat! This one was distilled in February 2002 and aged for a decade in a refill hogshead before Claxton's bottled it up at cask strength. 304 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Charred oak, white grapes, a hint of cacao, roasted chestnut.

Palate

Orange oil and fresh raspberries, balanced by heavy waves of rich, earthy smoke.

Finish

Lasting smoky salinity.
