Winner of 3 awardsJoining the ranks of Big Peat and Scallywag is Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie, a blended malt made entirely of Highland whiskies from distilleries such as Dalmore, Glen Garioch, Glengoyne and more. The name is a nod to the Robert Burns poem 'To a Mouse' and to Burns' wit, as though the mouse in the poem is a timid little thing, this whisky is nothing of the sort!

Don’t be fooled by the most, this is a big beast of a dram and perfect for those who love a gristy, honey’d fullsome barley style of malt scotch
Thoroughly impressed with this one. Fulsome and sweet with a nice oaky spicy style
This converted me to blended malt whisky. Such a great quality dram
Great dram at that price point. A touch of water with mine
The ultimate Burns Whisky... What a dram and a great price for an incredible drop. This is a great example of why a good blended malt is better than a good single malt!
