Timorous Beastie 25 Year Old
25 year old Timorous Beastie! This well-aged blended malt come to us via the wonderful Douglas Laing, and has been crafted using malt whiskies from the Highland region, all aged for at least 25 years. The name is a reference to the Robert Burns poem 'To A Mouse', and features a cheerful little mouse on the label too.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange, honey, soft hints of earthy vanilla pod, peppery malt and cornflakes.
Palate
Cornflakes with milk again, alongside buttered bread, raisins, sultanas, sea salt and peppercorn.
Finish
Soft hints of clove and chocolate appear on the finish.
