This Danish single malt whisky was bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd for its Nordic Cask series. It's a fine addition to the range, sourced from a pair of quarter casks from Thy Distillery that were vatted together and presented without any colouring or chill-filtration at 57.5% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich woodsmoke, cedar, orange peel, and ginger.
Palate
Honeydew melon, cinder toffee, tannic red apple skin, and a hint of quince.
Finish
Baking spices and charcoal linger.
