
A brilliant blended Scotch from indie bottler Thompson Bros., based over at the Dornoch Distillery. Comprised of a careful selection of single malts and grains aged for at least six years, the blend takes inspiration from old-school sherry forward expressions, so expect plenty of sticky fruit, toffee, and nutty spice here.
Dense layers of jammy stone fruit, honeyed sultanas, mocha, and almost savoury, tangy oaken spice.
The dried fruits continue with raisins, chocolate-dipped orange wheels, and soaked sultanas tangling with candied nuts and fig rolls.
Maple syrup, crystalised ginger, and warming sprinkles of powdered cinnamon, with lingering baked fruit and tea loaf.

Superb for the money and better than the SRV in my opinion. Easily as good as most single malts at twice the price. If you like your whisky to be sweet and rich fruits you'll love this.
