Thompson Bros. is being rather mysterious with this well-aged single malt. All we know is that it was distilled over in Speyside back in 1995, and was then rested in a single refill American oak barrel for almost a quarter of a century! Eventually it was bottled at 24 years old, with an outturn of 310 bottles. It looks like that's Craigellachie bridge on the label there, so perhaps that could give us a clue as to where the whisky hails from...
