Orkney 20 Year Old 1998 (Thompson Bros.)
A mystery single malt here from Orkney, bottled by Thompson Bros.! It spent 20 years in a single refill hogshead before it was independently bottled, with 353 bottles released at 49.5% ABV. A rather fruity affair with a good helping of that maritime influence you'd expect, with a pretty cool nod to Orkney's Viking history on the label!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A crack of sea salt alongside buttered sweet popcorn, with zesty fruit, lemongrass and caramelised nuts, with a whiff of smoke.
Palate
Subtle smoke supports floral honey, tinned pineapple and cooked orchard fruits, with a pinch of black pepper.
Finish
Orange blossom and toasty oak char.
