Description
This charming Highlander is brought to us by independent bottler Thompson Bros. Matured for a total of 10 years, the whisky was treated to a finish in a manzanilla cask, bringing vibrant fruit and subtle salinity to the Highland single malt.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Toasted brioche, salted toasted oats and maple syrup, the nose is rounded with a pleasant fattiness. Chamomile, cranberries and diluted balsamic.
Palate
Sour cherries, pink grapefruit, dill, cinnamon, pomegranate, green teas, all met with a saline vein that runs through the length of it.
Finish
Salted lemons and red fruits on the medium to long finish.
