A 12 year old single malt from a mystery distillery on Orkney, drawn from a single cask. It was distilled in June 2005 and bottled in 2017 for The Cooper's Choice range. the name 'Skara Brae' comes from a stone-built Neolithic settlement on the Bay of Skaill in Orkney. 450 bottles were produced.
Fried dough, mint leaf, ground cumin and a hearty helping of salted chocolate.
Honey-coated green apple, flashes of cinnamon and heather, lightly toasted rye bread.
Lingering salinity.
